HST Cold War Match

The “Red Dawn” invasion is underway and it’s time for the 2^nd annual HST Cold War Match. Compete with your go-to long gun and handgun wearing your kit, battle-rattle, competition or EDC gear in a friendly match to claim the title of top Wolverine. The HST Cold War Match will test your grit, tactics and skill with realistic live-fire scenarios through a wooded over-land course. The course of fire requires an indefinite amount of ammo and will take approximately 30 minutes. Show up, compete and leave or hangout around the fire with fellow Patriots. Grand prize is a voucher donated by Michiana Firearms for either a Rugged Suppressors Micro30™ ($843 retail value, NFA tax stamp not included) or a $200 in-store gift card. Early-bird registration fee is $30 or $40 the day of the competition. The match is limited to the first 50 competitors. Winner need not be present to win. The battle wages rain, snow or shine.

Needed Equipment:

Long gun (AR15, AK, shotgun, Mini-14, bolt gun, etc.)
No magnum rifle calibers
No armor piercing green tip/ LAP/ SS109 ammo
Handgun
Combat load-out of long gun and handgun ammo
Handgun holster with full trigger guard coverage & good retention (OWB or IWB)
Hat, eye and ear protection

Competition Rules

Only one entry per person allowed.
Winner need not be present to win.
The battle wages rain or shine.
Due to the nature to the event, no refunds will be provided.
All range rules and competition rules must be followed or the participant will be disqualified from the competition and asked to leave the property without refund.
Please remember your firearm is your responsibility. Failure to follow safety rules will result in disqualification and removal from the range.
Competitors who are not able to safely handle and fire a firearm will not be allowed to compete.
Everyone must wear eye and ear protection.
At no time will anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol be allowed to participate.
At no time will the HST staff or Range Officers tolerate gross, unsportsmanlike conduct. Anyone acting in such a manner will be required to leave the range.
Displays of ill temper and/or other displays of emotions not compatible with the environment of a shooting competition may lead to the individual being asked to leave the range.
A negligent discharge is unacceptable and will result in disqualification.
While there in no age restriction to participate in the competition, all competitors, regardless of age must demonstrate safe firearm handling skills at all times. Any participant 17 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
